Members are invited to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and General Meeting (GM) of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia ACT Inc. This page provides all meeting details, agenda items, nomination information, and key documents.

Meeting Details

  • Date: Sunday, 11 October 2026
  • Time: Lunch commences at 1:00pm, AGM commences at 2:00pm, followed immediately by the General Meeting
  • Location: SSAA ACT Inc. Range Complex, Main Range
  • Eligibility: All current financial SSAA ACT Inc. members
  • Lunch RSVP: Members wanting to attend the lunch, must RSVP to assist with catering requirement. RSVP's can be made here.

Office Bearer Nominations

Nominations will be accepted for the following Council positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Deputy Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Members' Delegates

Nomination forms can be submitted via email to secretary@ssaaact.org.au or handed to the Secretary at the meeting.

If you are interested in nominating for a position, we encourage you to read information the Council has provided here.

The meeting will also be asked to ratify the SSAA ACT Inc. Discipline, Club and Section delegates to be appointed as officers of the SSAA ACT Inc. on Council.

Important Notes for Members

  • Please ensure your SSAA ACT Inc. membership is current to participate in voting.
  • Members are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for sign‑in.
  • Only SSAA ACT Inc. financial members may nominate or vote.
  • Proxy voting is not permitted in accordance with the SSAA ACT Constitution.
  • Registration to vote will close when the Executive Committee positions have been spilled. Members will still be able to attend the meeting as observers.
