ACT Firearms Legislation Amendment Survey

Help Shape SSAA ACT’s Engagement on Firearms Law Reform

SSAA ACT is seeking feedback from members and other firearms licence holders regarding the proposed changes contained in the Firearms (Public Safety) Amendment Bill and any future firearms legislation that may be proposed.

This survey has been created to gather the views of our members and the broader firearms community so that our engagement with Government, regulators, elected representatives, and other stakeholders is informed by the people we represent.

It is important to note that the statements presented within the survey are not policy positions of SSAA ACT Inc., nor do they reflect the views of the Executive or our volunteers. They are not proposals that SSAA ACT is advocating for. Rather, they have been included to test a range of perspectives and help us better understand the views of licence holders across our community.

The more responses we receive, the stronger and more representative the information will be. We encourage all members to complete the survey and to share it with other firearms licence holders. While the survey will remain open, we would particularly appreciate responses within the first 48 hours to help provide a strong foundation for our ongoing discussions and advocacy efforts. Responses received after this period will continue to be considered, with results reviewed and collated in stages.
